Shenhua Finds Her Voice! & Voice Recording Report!

Hello Everyone!
It is now official! Voice actress Haruka Terui will be the voice of Shenhua Ling, the heroine of this story facing the adventures ahead with Ryo.
It has been quite a wait since the confirmation announcement of Masaya Matsukaze as Ryo in the July of 2015, but trust us, it was worth it!

Sequel Excitement
When I heard that the project broke two Guinness World Records, I must say it did not really hit me at the time, but now, I couldn’t be more excited! We are making good headway on the uncommon amount of speaking lines, and as we do so, the faces of my friends who were also in the production of 1 and 2 are there with me in my thoughts.
For the long-time Shenmue fans, I hope they will also share this strikingly peculiar sense of going back in time; and for those new to the series, I hope they will enjoy this wonderful entry that will take them to a whole other world. And with the unimagined miracle announcement for the 1 and 2 remakes, I emphatically wish that everyone will experience all three!
Thoughts on the Series
Even with over 300 people so feverishly working on Shenmue, when production had stopped, I thought there would never be another sequel. Yu-san has watched as the landscape he presented to the world 14 years ago has now become the standard in the gaming industry, and I once again must give my admiration to him for building a concept on such a grand scale.
I also think how fortunate I was to be there back in my twenties. The hardware has since evolved, and now witnessing the improved quality of Shenmue, I get goose bumps all over again thinking if this is what Yu-san had seen all along. This sequel has the might of the fans behind it, and these past few years Yu-san said he has been meeting fans all over the world and would make it for them. Everything is in place, so let the journey continue.

Sequel Excitement
I was both honored and terrified when I heard I had been chosen to play Shenhua. Shenmue has been beloved by so many for so long and fans have been waiting her. As I look Shenhua in the eyes and become her voice, I will remember everyone has their own precious memories and I will do everything I can to keep those memories like they were. The more I learn about her, the more I feel drawn to and taken over by her curious charm. I am incredibly happy to be able to walk alongside her.
Thoughts on the Series
I watched “Shenmue: The Movie” which I borrowed from Matsukaze-san who plays Ryo. I was greatly impressed you could make a movie just from the scenes in a game. It was actually a shock for me to see how much thought had been put into the dialog and action. Now, watching the Shenmue III movie while we record, the picture is all the more beautiful. The world, the forests, the people...they all live there. I can’t wait to play it. I will be acting my heart out for Shenhua and for you!

بدأت الSurvey التجريبية لعدد محدود عشوائي من الباكرز
وراح يعلنوا لاحقا عن الموعد الفعلي (البداية والنهاية) للSurvey اللي حينكتب فيه تفاصيل طلبك مثل عنوان الشحن ونوع النسخة الخ من الأمور حسب التيير اللي أنت دعمته

China Distribution Finalized! Shenmue III Partnering with Tencent & Oasis Games!

Hello Everyone,

The team here is digging deep in this last stretch to the August 27th release, and picking our heads up, there are only a few days left before the end of the year! But we do have a few announcements to get in before the New Year, so let’s get to it!

Chinese Distribution Finalized!

A few days ago at the G-Fusion Tour 2018 in Xiamen the announcement was made for Shenmue III’s distribution in China. The PC version will be distributed by Tencent through their gaming platform WeGame. The PS4 version will be distributed by Oasis Games, an official partner of Sony Computer Entertainment Shanghai (SCES).

Further details on distribution in China are forthcoming.

Participating in a talk session for G-Fusion were Yu Suzuki and Animation Producer Hiroaki Takeuchi. It was a fantastic event with the enthusiasm of the Chinese fans palpable in the air.

Hiroaki Takeuchi is an animation producer who has contributed to a library of works bridging Japan to the world including The Animatrix, TEKKON KINKREET: Black & White and Berserk. He acted as the CG Animation Producer for the Shenmue series. A list of his works can be found on his homepage at TaKe-Y Inc.

The hall was buzzing with excitement from the fans.

The talk session was a big hit!

Survey Responses Update

Game development for your survey responses is underway. The official cutoff for survey responses regarding game development and reward manufacturing was September 30th, however, there have been some backers who afterwards updated their responses. The dev team will do their best to get in changes to those responses updated after the cutoff, however we cannot make any promises with our tight development schedule.

January 6th, 2019 will be the final day for survey response updates. After that, we will no longer be accepting survey response updates. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

2019 is upon us!

2019 is the year of destiny for Shenmue III. Everyone has waited so long, and at last, this will be the year Shenmue III delivers!

There will be plenty of events with lots to unveil this coming year, and we hope everyone will hang in there with us just a little longer until August 27th.

ابديت اليوم أتكلم عن الاعلان اللي صار مؤخرا بالصين انه شركة Tencent هي المسؤولة عن اصدار وترجمة اللعبة للسوق الصيني على منصتها على الPC و بارتنر سوني في الصين Oasis games حينشرها على الPS4.... خبر مهم لانها من الاسواق اللي أعول عليها انها تكون ممتازة لمستقبل السلسلة.

النقطة الثانية مهمة للباكرز والريواردز تبعهم وهي انهم مددوا التعديل على السيرفيز حق الريواردز ليوم 6 يناير + والأهم انه صار بأمكان تغيير الShipping address بأي وقت قبل الشحن الفعلي.

وبالاخير كرت المعايدة الجديد

تقريبا ما قد شفت شركة تعلن عن يوم الاصدار قبل سنة من اصدار اللعبة.
اتوقع اعلان يوم محدد مؤشر على انه اللعبة حتصدر خلال هذا الwindow (اغسطس لنهاية السنة) ليس الا وتوقعاتي نهاية السنة واذا مرة مرة بالغوا يناير 2020 لكن ما اعتقد انها بتتجاوز ديسمبر من نفس السنة.

بالنسبة للعبة نفسها والبروجرس الحاصل.
من جهة احنا ما شفنا غير تيزرات دون جيم-بلاي واي من هذي الامور فمانقدر نحدد تماما الى اي حد اللعبة مكتملة آخرهم هذا

لكن اللي اعرفه انه اللعبة كانت بلايبل تماما من ديسمبر 2017 (قبل سنة) حسب البرديوسر اللي جربها بذاك الوقت.
ومن جهة ثانية في تطوير مستمر مظهريا قاعدين نلحظه بالابديتات الصغيرة اللي بنشوفها من وقت لآخر نتيجة لسياسة التزام التواصل من خلال ابديتات لباكرز كيكستارتر لكن معظم المشاريع بالوضع الطبيعي ما تنعرض الا لما تكون جاهزة تماما (اغلب المشاريع تنعرض وتصدر خلال 6 اشهر لسنة من وقت اعلانها).

اللي أعرفه أيضا انه عملية الدوبلاج الصوتي الياباني على نهايتها و already بدأت عملية الدوبلاج الصوتي الانجليزية

Let me put it this way — Yu Suzuki did mention himself that the [game’s scope is very large] this time. It’s not a budget, cut down version of Shenmue. Which I think is great. We have a lot of characters, and we have a lot of really great people. Really great people, who also I can’t mention because we haven’t really gotten permission to really talk about that yet. But we have some really great people working on this project. I mean, people who have been in the business forever, people that you will recognize that are voices, and people that work on other games, animation, films. You know, that’s one thing that I’m really excited about is that we have got all kinds of people. I mean, people who do — like I said — a little bit of everything, right? I mean, people that you hear on Netflix, people that you hear on the movies, that kind of stuff. Let me just say we are deep in it.

"-Regarding our "Shibuya Crazy Time" I told you earlier, Shenmue III, our game releasing on August 27th 2019, Mr Yu Suzuki will be there, during a conference dedicated to Shenmue III. I insist on "dedicated" which means we'll really get into details about the game. We'll also have a new trailer, really extensive, dedicated to the MAGIC, that's a world premiere so I think the worldwide gaming press might be interested in that.
-Here I'm showing you new screenshots of Shenmue III, that never were shown before. So here you have this one (the first one shown on his twitter feed), to keep you waiting until the full event.
-I have more to say about the game, so I'm taking my notes here so that I make no mistakes. So... Well as you know, MAGIC is organized by Shibuya Productions, co-producer of Shenmue III and thanks to our partners YsNet, developper of the game and Deep Silver, publisher of the game, we'll have the possibility to show some gameplay of the game to certain/a few selected people. I cant tell you yet how they'll be selected but there'll be gameplay for the game, at the MAGIC, so it's a big news as it's a world premiere as MAGIC will be the first event where Shenmue III will have such a spotlight.
-I'm taking this opportunity to talk about something, a small detail that'll make fans happy, we'll make a special Shenmue III t-shirt, sold only at the MAGIC, an official MAGIC Shenmue III t-shirt, in limited quantities.
