10 Presentation
As far as 2D role-playing games go, this is by far the most complete one of the genre developed...and it's on a handheld. Go figure.
10 Graphics
Absolutely brilliant use of lush colors throughout the game, and the developers push the GBA hardware with great particle effects, transparencies, and sprite scaling and rotation.
10 Sound
Put in the headphones, the synthesized orchestrations are some of the best heard on a handheld system. The hack, slash, and magic sounds are also a treat for the ears.
9.0 Gameplay
The biggest gripe is the silly and inconsistent use of yes/no questions throughout the game...but in some instances they don't bother asking.
9.0 Lasting Appeal
The game is a super long adventure, but it will end. Luckily you can still battle your buddies with the use of the link cable.

8.0 Presentation
If you're looking for an overhaul of the Golden Sun series, stop. It's an extension of the original in storyline, with only a few new elements added to the design.
10 Graphics
Just like the original, Camelot really wows with elaborate special effects that push the GBA hardware extremely well. The overworld tiles are rendered brilliantly, too.
10 Sound
Though the sequel borrows from the original's library of tunes, you're still not going to find a game that can beat this one when it comes to an epic soundtrack.
9.0 Gameplay
Same issues that occured in the first one, wordy dialog, yes/no questions that go nowhere, and random battle elements are still here. But other than that, great stuff.
9.0 Lasting Appeal
The quest is even longer than the first, and also features the same two player link cable battles.
