سوق ألعاب الحاسب تطور من 2007 و صارت الشركات تهتم فيه و تصدر ألعابها عليه بعد ما كان يحصل على الفتات
من ضمن الاهتمام الحاصل هو وجود تقنيات حديثة مثل Mantle و DirectX 12 تسمح باستغلال قدرات العتاد كاملة مثل الكونسول
و تطوير Valve لنظام SteamOS (مع أن سلبياته كثيرة و يعتمد على برامج قديمة و غير مناسبة لأجهزة الألعاب أبداً)
