قامت هيئة المنافسة والأسواق بإصدار قرارها النهائي برفض الموافقة على إتمام صفقة استحواذ Microsoft على Activision Blizzard بسبب المخاوف حول حصول Microsoft على أفضلية كبيرة في سوق البث السحابي للألعاب.
شركات البث السحابي عبّرت عن رفضها لقرار هيئة المنافسة والأسواق ومن ضمنهم Nvidia التي أكّدت بأنّ خدمة GeForce Now ومختلف منصات البث السحابي ستستفيد كثيراً من استحواذ Microsoft على Activision Blizzard كون الشركة ستجلب ألعاب الشركة مثل Call of Duty إلى تلك المنصات وتأمل Nvidia أن يتم التواصل إلى حل إيجابي.
Boosteroid هي الأخرى قامت بالتعبير عن مخالفتها لهذا القرار وتأمل أن يتم الوصول إلى حل سريع وإيجابي ونحن بانتظار الخطوة التالية من Microsoft.
GeForce NOW and other cloud gaming providers stand to gain an even deeper catalog of games if Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision is completed.
We see this as a benefit to cloud gaming and hope for a positive resolution.
