محلل المبيعات الأمريكي BenjiSales وبحسب الأرقام الأولية التي وصلته فألعاب Pokemon Sword\Shield تحقق أرقام ضخمة جدا بالسوق الأمريكي مع صدورها ورقم مبيعات اليوم الأول للألعاب تخطى العاب Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu\Eevee بمبيعات أول يومين لهما وبفارق كبير جدا.
بحسب المحلل فألعاب Pokemon Sword\Shield قد تحقق أضخم إفتتاحية للعبة حصرية بهذا الجيل بشهرها الأول متفوقة على لعبة Super Smash Bros. Ultimate ولكن لن يحتسب هذا الرقم للعبة بكون مؤسسة NPD تنظر للنسختين بكونهما لعبتين منفصله:

It looks like Sword and Shield on Day 1 outsold the launch 2 day total of Pikachu and Evee. So it did over what they did in 2 days in 1. (By a lot)
