It's a compelling story, but for a good while, if feels like the survival aspect is padding to hold you back from seeing what little there is to see.
7.0Graphics
The DS is capable of more detailed textures and a bigger draw distance without fog, but this still isn't a bad island to get lost on.
6.5Sound
The music is very simple, and we wanted to hear Skye's pretty voice rather than read it. However, the stereo sounds were soothing as we explored.
6.5Gameplay
As much as Lost in Blue has its appeal for fans of Survival Kids, the DS controls are clunky and the variety is just too limited.
6.0Lasting Appeal
You could spend many days setting traps and collecting goods, but this really doesn't have the continuous drive of something like Harvest Moon.
