City in the Sky was great, I enjoyed that.
This is why TP is not better than OoT:
1. The overworld sucked really. I hated those narrow paths. Not enough hidden caves and not enough Boar riders in that field. The overworld might be 'huge' but too bad there's nothing to do in it.
2. All the dungeons were too easy, while most of them were enjoyable. I walk into a dungeon, and walk back out finished. I wanted to get stuck more, just didn't happen.
3. Bosses were far to easy. I find 1 simple Darknut more challenging than all the dungeon bosses mushed together.
4. The Master Sword sucked. Not only did it look way to big on Link's back, but it just felt wrong. No fight before or after getting the Master Sword, no huge surprise or twist. Just grabbed the Master Sword. Whoopie. I loved how you got the Master Sword in TWW and OoT far more than in TP.
5. Temple of Time. It sucked. I thought the Temple of Time was like the ultimate Temple we've never been in. There's some huge treasure or guardian inside it. What do we find? Dumb statues and lots of spiders. How'd all those damn spiders get in there anyway? Did they put the Matser Sword into the pedestal and walk up the stairs? Doubtful at best.
6. The towns sucked. Hyrule Town is just full of pointless people running round. I would not mind this, but besides that. There's nothing todo. I wanted more shops, I wanted more mini-games. I wanted Telma's bar to be active, like you could sit down and by some Milk. But all we got was crap. I did enjoy the Star Mini-game though, that's the best thing in Hyrule Town. Kakariko Village was empty too. I was expecting a couple of mini-games there, and an Inn. All we got was three crappy shops.
7. Twilight Palace was an excellent outstanding design, but it was far to short. Fighting the same mini-boss twice and went by far to quick.
8. Hyrule Castle was a joke, the design was incomplete (I walk around the first level this in dungeon, notice all those places where doors should of been?, you didn't really have to get all the keys, puzzles were to easy, didn't feel like a dungeon at all.
9. Zant sucked. Not only did his character get flushed down the toilet towards the end, but he looks like a n00b too, not to mention his stupid voice and actions. Huge disappointment.
11. Princess Zelda, not enough of her. Felt like a complete stranger to Link. The whole tacked on Light Arrows were disappointing to. I mean, if this was your first Zelda game, wouldn't you be staying "Ok wtf are those?".
12. The Ganondorf battle was excellent, I LOVED that. But disappointing to see that we didn't see that first trailer teaser army anywhere in the game, And disappointing to see Ganondorf make no references to Link or the Master Sword. I was hoping you'd have to go through that army to get to Ganondorf on his horse. Can't have it all.
Wow lots of reasons why TP didn't match up.

Why Ocarina of Time was better:
1. You would not believe it but, OoT had a better overworld. It made more sense and didn't have stupid tiny paths everywhere.
2. The dungeons were perfect and love every single one of them. Challenging, big, interesting. Sure the Water Temple was hard and I was stuck in it for months. I would prefer that than a Water Temple that only lasts one sit-down play through. All of the dungeons had depth, and really got better as you went through. Ganon's Tower finishing it off very nicely.
3. The bosses were far more challenging in this game, sure Ganondorf's tennis game was kinda lame. But Ganon made up for that.
4. The Master Sword was perfect, you felt so pwnage when you got it. And the huge twist if brang with it.
6. The towns of course were not better than Majora's Mask. But at least they weren't empty. You could go into all the buildings and find someone there.
7. The classic story of Link, Zelda & Ganon were pulled off perfectly in this game.
8. Replayability is amazing. I've completed OoT more than 30 times, easy. Master Quest once. I still feel as though I could pick it up again. Just to see how much better the dungeons were.
