Mage Knight to Fight on DS Namco brings the miniature series to Nintendo's two screens. November 17, 2005 - Just as you've mastered the portable strategy of titles like Advance Wars: Dual Strike, Namco arrives with its own turn-based offering. The company today announced Mage Knight: Destiny's Soldier, a title based on WizKids' collectible miniatures franchise. The game will use the DS touch screen to let players directly pick up units, deploy forces, issue commands, and roll dice -- simulating the tabletop version of Mage Knight.
"Mage Knight: Destiny's Solider should appeal to those familiar and unfamiliar with the Mage Knight franchise," said Jeff Lujan, business director at Namco Hometek Inc. "The sheer amount of storytelling, strategy gameplay, and army customization is a testament to how deep and rich the Mage Knight universe really is. We are very excited to bring this unique and innovative tabletop gaming experience to the Nintendo DS."
Destiny's Soldier is currently scheduled for release in spring 2006. Look for more on the title as news comes in.

November 17, 2005 - Atari announced today that Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2 is now shipping for the Nintendo DS, marking the first Dragon Ball Z entry on Nintendo's dual-screened system. Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2 features more than 20 playable Z-Warriors and multiple gameplay modes including Free Battle, Story, Practice and Z Battle. The game uses the touch screen to call for instant help and supports two-player battles via the DS wireless connection.
