Beyond Good & Evil - 20th Anniversary Edition includes updated visuals running at up to 4K resolution and 60 FPS; updated controls and quality-of-life features; a new in-game treasure hunt and Speedrun Mode; and a special anniversary gallery. Additionally, a physical edition and Collector's Edition will be available through Limited Run Games, with preorders opening on July 12.
There's also new content to discover: Players can take on a new treasure hunt with clues that will direct them across Hillys and yield in-game cosmetic rewards that tie into Jade's past - and to the pirates of Beyond Good and Evil 2. Beyond Good & Evil - 20th Anniversary Edition also updates the game with autosaving, cross-saves across all available platforms, remapped controls (with full support for controllers, keyboards, and mice), and the ability to skip cutscenes.
Last but not least, Beyond Good & Evil fans can get fresh insight into the development of the 2003 original with the new Anniversary Gallery, which features previously unreleased art, videos, anecdotes from developers, and other never-before-seen content.
