Yes... yes... another rumor. Gamefront has posted some news that states Microsoft and Sony are in a bit of controversy over the use of a certain Microsoft Audio Codec in the Playstation 3. Not to mention the same news post gives way at the price of the Playstation 3 coming from an insider source.

The article from Gamefront.de reads that Sony has apparently decided to use an Audio codec from Microsoft. But you know how that goes and so an agreement is in the workings so that both companies can be cheery. We assume this involves some payment from Sony, but in either case the other interesting note is that the price of the Playstation 3 is reported to be around the 499 to 529 euro range.
