"For us, Japan is the strongest market for us," says Wada. "That sounds good, but overseas, we're weak. We don't have any titles that are stronger in the West
"There is potential for Monster Hunter to sell well overseas," says Capcom's Tsujimoto. But if it's sold just the same as in Japan it might not be successful. Because Japanese people use trains, while people in North America use cars.

"This will change," Wada says, "through development work. The plan is to sell globally."

"About ten years ago, you couldn't sell Western titles in Japan," says Namco Bandai's Unozawa. "Maybe some people remeber that."
