7.0 Presentation
Load times are pretty much instantaneous and the interface is intuitive and easy to use. Unfortunately, the generic art style and average storyline just doesn't catch on.
7.0 Graphics
Most of the environments are just copies of what we saw in Twilight of the Spirits, but they still look pretty good. The facial animations are nice too, but character movement and FX are so-so.
8.0 Sound
If strong soundtracks are your thing, then Koji Sakurai's excellent score is definitely for you. Strangely there's almost no voice-over work, but at least the audio effects are cool.
6.0 Gameplay
Completely different from before, the real-time combat of End of Darkness can be places but is mostly repetitive thanks to poor AI and bad response time. Nice upgrade system, though.
8.0 Lasting Appeal
The online mode is where you'll garner the most fun, and with more than 200 missions between both offline and networked play you should expect at least 30-40 hours worth of gaming.
