Chelsea are currently looking for a top class coach in order to fill the vacant role at Stamford Bridge. Ancelotti has been loosely linked with a move to the Blues for quite some time, and now it's looking likely after the Rossoneri tactician was seen together with Abrahamovic in Geneva.

According to reports in Italy, the two met and spoke briefly but Ancelotti denies any speculation of a move and he insists that he was only there on holiday rather than talk about a potential move to West London.

"I am here on Holiday so that I can relax," Ancelotti told La Repubblica.

"Abrahamovic? I don't really know him and to be honest I am only thinking about Milan and no-one else."

Marcello Lippi is tipped to take the Milan spot after the club failed miserably this season and thus this could pave the way for Ancelotti to move to the Premier League.

Milan will play UEFA Cup football this season and the board of directors are not too happy with the way things panned out this term.

Ancelotti's future on the Milan bench is not as certain as it may seem and Abrahamovic's mega money may be too hard to resist.

The 34-year-old Zanetti again had a brilliant season with the Nerazzurri, leading them to a third straight Scudetto victory.

Mancini Or Mourinho?

In an interview with the Corriere dello Sport, Zanetti was first asked whether it would be Roberto Mancini or Jose Mourinho who would be sitting on the Inter bench next season.

'This answer only the coach and the president can decide,” Zanetti stated.

“What Mancini has done in recent years is there for all to see. I am convinced that Moratti will choose the best solution to keep Inter at the top in the future."

Mancini Enemies?

Mancini has had a number of reported falling outs this season with the likes of Luis Figo, Patrick Vieira and Hernan Crespo. Zanetti was asked if the dressing room was against the coach.

"In every team there are those who are discontented,” he explained.

“However a group can not get to win the championship if it is divided or if it is against coach. We were and are with him."

Good Season?

The Inter skipper was asked whether he was happy with Inter’s season.

"I would have signed for this at the beginning of the season, although I would have liked to have gone further in the Champions League too," he pointed out.

“The season has been positive and with all the injury problems we have had that have penalized us it was difficult to do any better."

Messi Dream

Finally Il Trattore was asked if there was one player he dreamed about bringing to San Siro, who that player would be.

"Messi is my dream and Moratti thinks exactly the same, but the chance of Leo arriving is difficult. Maybe I try to convince him in these days with the national team,” he concluded.

Speculation has been rife over the past 48 hours that Mancini would be leaving Inter, and indeed yesterday Portuguese newspaper A Bola claimed that President Massimo Moratti had already done the deal for Jose Mourinho to replace the tactician.

Mancini and Moratti arranged a meeting this afternoon at 17:00 to sort out the coach's future, but the meeting had lasted just over 20 minutes until Mancini walked out of a private residence in Milan and refused to comment on the outcome.

There are now widespread reports that the pair have mutually agreed to rescind Mancio's contract, and that Mourinho will be his immediate replacement.

The Special One, who has been out of work since leaving Chelsea last September, is reported to be in Portugal this afternoon finalising personal terms over his contract with Inter director Marco Branca.

The Portuguese daily Diario de Noticias adds to this that Mourinho has been taking private Italian lessons for the past five months as he wants to present himself better to the press, players and fans.

There has been no official confirmation of these reports as of yet, but it is likely that there will some news very soon.

The Dragons' chairman, Pinto da Costa, has stated that Quaresma will only leave the club for the figure stipulated in his release clause, which may put in jeopardy a move to Giuseppe Meazza as Inter Milan president, Massimo Moratti, is allegedly refusing to make an offer above €30 million.

Quaresma, who is currently with the Portuguese national squad in Viseu, joined Porto from Barcelona in 2004 in the deal involving Deco moving to Camp Nou.

The Bianconeri are on the lookout for defenders this summer, and are particularly keen on signing at least one new centre back.

According to reports in Italy, Juventus transfer chief Alessio Secco and director general Jean-Claude Blanc have agreed that Argentine defender Burdisso is the man to strengthen the team’s backline.

Burdisso signed for Inter from Boca Juniors in 2004, but has never been a first team regular due to the presence of a number of other top-class defenders.

He is currently behind Ivan Cordoba, Walter Samuel, Marco Materazzi, Christian Chivu and Nelson Rivas in the centre back pecking order, and as a result the Nerazzurri are more than happy to let him leave.

Burdisso made 24 Serie A appearances this season, but it was not a campaign to remember as he put in a series of shaky displays at the back, particularly in the last few months.

The 26-year-old, who was sent off in a Coppa Italia tie against Juve in January (see picture above), has given his nod of approval to a move to Turin, and both Secco and Blanc are said to be confident of completing a deal within the next few weeks.

The former Parma hit-man has been playing second fiddle at the Rossoneri for the past couple of seasons and he has spent the majority of the campaign on the bench.

His performances were woeful and he has been quickly shipped out to La Viola who have confirmed the deal.

A statement on the club's official website reads: "Fiorentina would like to communicate that the club has signed Alberto Gilardino from AC Milan on a permanent basis.

"Gilardino will be unveiled to the press at 12.30 on Thursday at the Artemio Franchi stadium."

Reports in Italy claim the Viola paid €15m for the striker, he will earn €1.65m per season plus bonuses and he has signed a five year deal.

The striker is Fiorentina's third signing of the current transfer window following the arrivals of Felipe Melo and Stevan Jovetic.

مانشيني رسمياً مطرود :

Mancini received his marching orders following a meeting with President Massimo Moratti on Tuesday afternoon, however until now there had still not been any official confirmation from the club.

The Italian press has gone into overdrive with reports and rumours as to what happened in that meeting, and what the exact reasons were for Mancio being shown the door.

Some sources have claimed that the meeting lasted one minute, while others have said that Mancini was furious with the decision and that he stormed out of the room, leaving on bad terms.

Inter, who earlier today rubbished reports in the press of a blazing row, have now finally confirmed Mancini’s dismissal.

“F.C. Internazionale would like to announce that Mr Roberto Mancini has been exonerated from office as coach of the first team, particularly as a consequence of the statements made by the technician in the aftermath of Inter-Liverpool on March 11, 2008,” a statement on the club's website reads.

Mancini announced after the game at San Siro that he would be leaving at the end of the season, only to reverse his decision less than 24 hours later.

Whether the conversation or indeed the incidents spoken of are true remains to be seen, though one thing that is almost certain is that Jose Mourinho will sign as coach for the club in the coming days.

Mancini is expected to receive up to €30 million in compensation for his dimissal. Mourinho is reportedly being lined up for a three-year deal worth €27 million.

حتى الايطالية ضعيفة مادياً ( رواتب لاعبي لاتسيو مجتمعين = راتب توتي لوحده!!!!!!!!!) , بس الميلان والانتر هم الاقوياء مادياً ويدفعون رواتب ضخمة ( اليوفي عمره ما كان يدفع رواتب عالية حتى أيام فريق كابيللو , لذلك الادارة القديمة لليوفي كانت بتبيع ابراهيموفتش من زمان لأنه كان يطالب بزيادة راتبه) , ولا تنس مشكلة الضرائب في إيطالياً , يعني لازم الفريق يدفع ما يعادل 50% من راتب اللاعب للحكومة ( لاعب راتبه 4 مليون , إذاً لازم تدفع للحكومة الايطالية 2 مليون ضريبة!).

Ibrahimovic has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona over the past week or so, but until now there was nothing serious to suggest that the reports were merely paper talk and speculation.

Tuttosport today claims that Mourinho has told Inter President Massimo Moratti that Ibrahimovic is not part of his plans for the club, and he wants him sold immediately.

The ‘Special One’ is said to agree with those who believe that Ibrahimovic fails when it comes to the big games, particularly in the Champions League, a competition that Mourinho has been brought to Inter to win.

Mourinho also wants to sell Ibrahimovic because he wants there to be a total break from the whole idea that Inter are only dominating Serie A as a result of the Calciopoli crisis. Many people partly attribute their success since 2006 to the purchase of Ibrahimovic (and Vieira) from Juventus, and Mourinho wants to try and remove Inter’s association with Calciopoli.

Adriano, 26, most recently declared that he wants to return to Italy with Inter to restore his reputation and become the player he once was again, but Gilmar Rinaldi refuses to close the door to other possibilities.

“We will have to decide things along with the club and work out what would be the best place for Adriano and whether it would be best to stay at Inter or look elsewhere," said the Brazilian powerhouse's representative.

"Adri really likes Inter, but we will have to make the choice together.

“Adri is grateful to Sao Paulo for what they have done for him. But now he has recovered and could play for any team in the world.

"We will meet at a suitable time for all parties to determine when he will leave Brazil,” Rinaldi concluded.

Adriano made major waves in his first full season with Iner, but he's been on a steady decline since the 2005/2006 season, and hit rock-bottom when coach Roberto Mancini left him out of Inter's squad for this season's Champions League.

Back in December he was loaned out to Brazilian outfit Sao Paulo, where he finally appears to have rediscovered his old self.

زامبروتا ينتقل للميلان رسمياً :

The club have announced the news following months of speculation linking the player with a move back to Italy.

The details of the transfer are not yet known but a statement on the club’s official website reads:

“It’s now official. Gianluca Zambrotta is now a Milan player.

“The defender is about to play in the European Championship with Italy and he leaves Barcelona to strengthen the Milan defence.”
Only hours ago, Galliani hinted that his side needed someone like Zambro and his wish has been granted. Zambrotta has always stated his desire to play for the Rossoneri in the past and he has given up Champions League football next season in order to return to Italy.

He will now be looking to partner former Azzurri team mate Alessandro Nesta in defence.

The Rossoneri have, so far, strengthened their midfield and their defence. All they need now is a goalkeeper and a decent striker.

هو ما نجح مع البارسا لأن الدوري جديد ومختلف عليه , هو متعود لعب بطيء وتكتيك مدروس على عكس اللي شافه بأسبانيا من سرعة وهجوم صارخ.

MILAN - F.C. Internazionale announces the arrival of Josè Mourinho. The Portuguese coach has signed a three-year contract and will work on a new project with the Italian champions with his collaborators Rui Farias, Silvino and Andrei Villas Boas.
