After one of the most intense and exciting Serie A seasons in recent memory, it's already time for the transfer season again. It seems the first big move is already about to be announced, as Juventus and Palermo have allegedly reached an agreement for the transfer of Brazilian striker Amauri.

It's certainly not news that Juve were tracking the player, but what's surprising is how fast the two parties have reached the agreement. According to Italian daily 'Il Corriere dello Sport', Palermo's decision to give up on Juventus-owned Empoli playmaker Sebastian Giovinco was decisive. The player had been requested by the Rosanero for a long time, but the Turin-based club want to hold on to the talented youngster.

Now it seems Maurizio Zamparini's club will receive 12 million euros for Amauri, along with the ownership of midfielder Antonio Nocerino and the co-ownership of striker Davide Lanzafame.

The player will receive 3.5 million euros per season until 2012, with a series of potential bonuses depending on his performances. Amauri could find himself in Turin to undergo the medical tests and sign his new contract already tomorrow. It looks like this will be first big transfer saga that comes to an end this year...

Calderón quickly confirmed the rumours that Madrid had paid out for the young Argentine.

He said, "We paid 10 million euros in cash for Garay - a player on whom we are very keen.

"This also demonstrates, moreover, the good economic standing of our club."

Calderón's comments on the centre-back's future, though, were nothing if not interesting.

"He's a young player who could play this season as next," he explained, stating that he could be loaned back to Racing despite being a Madrid player now.

Going Nowhere

The president also found time to react to rumours that Robinho and Mahamadou Diarrà are set to leave the club.

"The only thing that we'll say about Robinho and Diarra is that they're intransferible," insisted Calderón.

When Garay arrives, he must compete for places with the likes of Fabio Cannavaro, Pepe, and Christoph Metzelder.

من جد! هذا السبب الي مخليني أعارض مجيء اللاعب من الأساس , لاعب قلبه مو مع اليوفي ما نبغاه , كثار لاعبين كانوا لابسين فانيلة اليوفي لكن قلوبهم مع أندية ثانية أو مع ال$$$ مثل ميكولي اللي راح إعارة لبنفيكا وقال ( لازم أغتسل من اليوفي) طبعاً الإدارة الجديدة باعته لباليرمو , حتى ابرا كان يطالب ادارة اليوفي بزيادة راتبه وموجي كان بيبيع ابرا بأي حال عشان كذا خروجه كان حتمي. أماوري شكله بيلحق هالأشكال , هو برازيلي ويبغى راتب عالي لذا أفضل مكان للبرازيليين الميلان + الفريق الأكثر دفعاً للرواتب في إيطاليا.

اميليا يلمح للبايرن:

The Amaranto were relegated from Serie A and Amelia, who is one of Italy's best shot stopper's, is looking for a move elsewhere.

The Azzurri number two reveals that he wouldn't mind a new challenge away from Serie A and he has hinted that his next destination maybe in the Bundesliga.

"There is a very good chance that I will leave Livorno this summer," said Amelia.

The Blues want to prise the Brazilian away from the Bernabéu by making a bid that they believe los Merengues will find too tempting to turn down and the opening gambit will be big, according to Onda Cero and Radio Marca.

Madrid's president, Ramón Calderón, has said that he is not willing to let Robinho go and is even said to be preparing a new contract for the 24-year-old.

Saint-Étienne, the club to whom Gomis is currently contracted, have acted to temper some of the rumour-mongering around their prize player by releasing a statement stating that he is not for sale, at least for the moment.

“He is untransferable. Even if Marseille arrived with three trucks full of money, he would not leave. He is ready to remain here a little longer before leaving to play in England,” Sainté co-president Roland Romeyer to local newspaper La Provence.

Romeyer’s comments leave a potential move to Arsenal in the future very much alive as Arsène Wenger is a well known admirer of the player, who has been favourably compared to Didier Drogba.

Regarding Pascal Feindouno - another player said to be likely to leave - Romeyer echoed comments made by Bernard Caïazzo after Saturday’s match with Lille, explaining, “He is also untransferable. As with Gomis, they will belong to the club the next season.”

Saint-Étienne are currently preparing for their first European campaign in 26 years and have unveiled Daisuke Matsui, an attacking midfield player formerly with Le Mans, as their first signing of the summer.

Aquilani’s future in the Eternal City is said to be in doubt as he has still yet to extend his contract that runs out in 2010, and there are reports that the club are unable to match his wage demands.

Yesterday it was speculated in the Italian press that the 23-year-old could be set for a summer move to Juventus in an exchange deal that would see Vincenzo Iaquinta move the other way.

However Aquilani has poured cold water on this story.

"I have a contract until 2010 and I do not know anything of these negotiations,” Aquilani told the Corriere delo Sport.

“The rumours are unfounded."

Aquilani also commented on the Scudetto controversy involving Inter. At the weekend Daniele De Rossi claimed that the Nerazzurri only won the championship due to help from the referees.

"We are angry, but you have to be sporting,” Aquilani noted.

“To say that the Scudetto was stolen, I really think is a bit too much. I do not want to cause controversy with De Rossi, but I do not think the actions of the referees were premeditated.”

اتليتكو يوقع رسمياً مع ايفالوسي:

The Czech Republic international had been strongly expected to sign for Atletico after revealing a few days ago that he was leaving Italy to move to Spain.

The 30-year-old has now officially signed a three year-contract with the Rojiblancos until 2011.

Ujfalusi joined Fiorentina from Hamburg in 2004, following that summer’s European Championships in Portugal. The 30-year-old had four excellent seasons at the Stadio Franchi, where he was one of the squad’s most influential players.

He made 149 appearances for the Viola, and yesterday the club issued a message of thanks for the service he gave.

“Sunday was Ujfalusi’s last game in a Fiorentina shirt and the club would like to remember the valuable contribution that this extraordinary player and great man has made over these four years,” a statement read.

“We have experienced some great times with him in the side and some times that we will never forget. On the day that he officially leaves, Fiorentina would like to demonstrate their gratitude to Ufo and wish him all the very best for his future.”

With his club future now sorted, Ujfalusi will turn his attention to preparing for Euro 2008 with the Czech Republic.

The former Chelsea coach has been linked with the club ever since current boss, Roberto Mancini, walked out on the club only to make a dramatic U-turn on his decision.

Mancini still hasn't confirmed his position with the Nerazzurri and he may leave in the summer. Meanwhile the Special One is currently free and waiting to pounce and, according to reports, he has claimed that he will sign for Inter on Monday.

Gazzetta claim Mourinho sent Chelsea midifielder Michael Essien a text message after the Moscow Champions League final telling him the news of his new adventure with the Nerazzurri.

The text reads: "Michael, you have all been great players regardless of the loss to Manchester United. On Monday I will sign for Inter and I hope that one day you too will come to Inter."

It seems as if Mourinho will take half of the Chelsea squad with him if he signs, as Inter are also interested in Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba.

Mancini has been linked with moves to Chelsea and Manchester City and if he does leave San Siro then the door would be wide open for Mourinho to walk in.

Inter are desperate to win the Champions League and Moratti would prefer someone who has experience of victory in the competition in the past to take the reins at San Siro.

That is the latest view from Spanish sports daily Marca, who appear to have made it their mission to publicly keep the link between Los Merengues and the Portuguese star going after taking the story from an outspoken presenter on COPE Radio.

Sir Alex Ferguson has been riled by the ever-increasing media stories coming from Spain and is also said to be frustrated that the player himself will not make a statement to stop them.

Marca do not appear to be surprised by the thought that United will demand three players, Robinho, Ramos and Diarrà, who are thought to be worth around €90m in total, plus another €50m.

After stating that the English giants are putting a price that is too high for Madrid to consider, the report quickly attempts to turn the situation around once again.

Instead, the paper takes it as a sign that there could even be some willingness to negotiate because the Premier League and European champions have set an asking price.

Ramón Calderón has expressed his surprise at Ferguson appearing to be so annoyed, but he too has one little to actually calm the situation and Marca are unlikely to be acting without some input from Madrid.

The latest story only ratchets the whole story into a sphere that even the most optimistic Madrilienian will find difficult to believe and until Ronaldo makes a statement will not stop.

Robinho has already stated that he has not heard, and does not want to hear, from United and he also thinks that Ronaldo will certainly not be joining Madrid this summer.

Rumours that Madrid may approach the Glazer family directly in a bid to appeal to their desire for profits could also cause a major stir with Ferguson if that were to happen.

Another day, another Ronaldo story. Despite Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson fuming that an amoral Real Madrid, aided by Marca, have done their utmost to unsettled the winger, there are yet more developments today in the Spanish press.

Following on from news that the club are apparently attempting to welcome Ronaldo to the Spanish capital with the aid of a brand new car, more substantive benefits have now emerged in the form of a bumper wage packet.

Madrid, allegedly, are prepared to offer Ronaldo €9.5m per season net, along with 50% of income generated from his image rights within Spain. What's more, his image rights outside the country would 100% belong to him alone.

In terms of club contract, this would make Ronaldo the best-paid footballer in history: others may earn more from off-pitch activities, but his would be the highest salary in the sport.

Nonetheless, the blancos are little closer to landing their man. Ronaldo himself declared recently that he wants to stay at Old Trafford, and although he's since offered no end of teasing with regards to his future it seems as though the Red Devils will keep him no matter what.

Marca, though, shows no sign of letting up in what it calls 'Operación Cristiano.'
