Please be informed that I am writing you on behalf of all Nintendo loyal fans in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. After a long wait for the Wii U to be launched in Saudi Arabia, it came to our attention that your official distributor in the Middle East 'ACTIVE GULF FZCO' announced the prices of the Wii U console officially as follows:
- Wii U Basic bundled with 2 remotes with MotionPlus will be SR 2,399 (USD $639.69)
- Wii U Deluxe bundled with 2 remotes with MotionPlus will be SR 2,699 (USD $719.69)
- Wii U Deluxe Stand-Alone set will be SR 2,499 (USD $666.36)
Those prices have been announced on both their official Twitter and Facebook pages, as seen here:

And pricing will soon be posted on their official website here:

It really saddens us to see such an incomprehensible massive hike in prices, they have actually doubled the price of the Wii U Deluxe console when comparing it to Nintendo USA's (and other parts of the world) official pricing of $349.99. What is Nintendo expecting its fans to do with such prices? Many fans -myself included- have decided not to buy the console from 'ACTIVE GULF FZCO' or its official Nintendo Store, we will be buying from abroad online stores and sacrifice losing Nintendo's local warranty on our consoles, but I believe the statement we're making by boycotting 'ACTIVE GULF FZCO' is worth it.
Nintendo, please do something about this madness, your competition in the Saudi market is stronger than ever, and I don't think Nintendo is willing to give up on its fans and loyal customers in the Middle East.
Your loyal fan,
