Wii, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 hardware sales entered a virtual three-way tie in the month of January, as reported shortages of the top two platforms let Sony overtake one, though not the other. Here are the results, courtesy NPD:

* Wii 274K

* Nintendo DS 251K
* PlayStation Portable 230K
* Xbox 360 230K

Not what I would call a great showing for anybody. Nintendo's shortages I can understand -- they blew all of their inventory out of the water this holiday -- but what on Earth is causing these low Xbox 360 numbers? The rumor mill says that Microsoft is deliberately drawing down inventory so they can release brand new SKUs. We'll see if that comes to fruition next week at GDC. Maybe they're just trying to clear out all those Halo boxes that nobody wants.

NPD notes that the $170 Rock Band for Xbox 360 was the top-selling title for the month in terms of dollars. Really interesting to see the Wii version of Guitar Hero III up above all, too. And Rock Band beating GHIII on the 360. Curious indeed. Game|Life's triple threat will be back here in the next day or so with deeper analysis.

It Begins ! ( لول للوناسة فقط ).. بس فين أرقام الPS2 ? للأمانة ما توقعت الPS3 يبيع أكثر من ال 360 لا وقريب من الWii.. الظاهر في مشكلة شحنات حادة والا شي.. بس إجمالا أرقام حلوة لسوني.


بردايس PS3 مش في التوب 10 ؟ والله كنت متوقع,. اليوم قلت لعمر اللعبة بالكثير راح تبيع 300 الف على الجهازين.

كول اوف ديوتي 4 اول لعبة طرف ثالث تبيع أكثر من مليون في أمريكا على الPS3.

أوف أخيرا لقيت أرقام يناير 2007.

الوي كان 436, طبعا الجهاز كان توه صادر, الشهر الحالي أكيد الـ1.5 من ديسمبر أكلت الأجهزة أكل + احتمال ننتندو قاعدة تدفع الشحنات لمارس عشان سماش؟

الـ360 كان 294, أعتقد دليل واضح أن هذا الشهر في نقص, يمكن مايكروسوفت ماوازنت الانتقال (بالشحنات) من ديسبمبر ليناير بشكل جيد.

البي إس 3 كان 244 يعني فحدود الرقم.

- أيضا بورنآوت بارادايس نزلت 22 يناير, يعني ماكملت أسبوعين فحساب المبيعات.

- الظاهر نو مور هيروز باعت فحدود 100 ألف.

مبيعات الPS3 إن شاء الله تكون فاتحة خير لعام 2008, لكن سبب تقدم الجهاز على ال360 ومقاربة الWii هو بلا شك مشكلة الشحنات, خاصة إن الWii وال360 عملوا شغل جامد في موسم الأعياد على عكس الPS3
