October 29, 2005 - It's now over a month after the Tokyo Game Show and we're at long last getting a look at one of the best demonstrations from the show as it was meant to be seen. Check out the video section below and you'll find the TGS Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer in full form and, for the first time, in high resolution.
While Konami uploaded a low-res version of the Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer to its website following TGS, the video qualty left quite a bit to be desired, especially for those who'd been lucky enough to witness the clip first hand on the show floor in Sony's PlayStation 3 theater. The version we've managed to get our hands on is in crystal clear quality and will probably be your best look at the trailer until Konami releases a high definition version of it.
Once you've watched the trailer, consider this. Konami has announced plans to include a Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer with the limited version of the MGS3 Subsistence when it hits Japan on 12/22. We'd previously assumed that the included footage would be the TGS trailer, but now that Konami has made a high resolution version of that public, there wouldn't be much fun in showing it again, would there? Perhaps we can expect a new trailer in late December.
