John Carmack يطور لعبتين للـDS

Legendary programmer John Carmack releases details on two of his upcoming titles.
Amongst the masses of writers, artists, PR guys and general staffers that attended E3 2007 was John Carmack, co-founder of id Software and lead programmer of such old-school hits as Doom and Quake. Apparently, he has quite a bit lined up for the future, and he decided to gush a bit concerning his plans.

For starters, Carmack and his team intend to transfer over one of their newer IPs, Orcs & Elves, from the mobile platform to the Nintendo DS. Based off the Doom RPG engine, Orcs & Elves is expected to hit the Nintendo DS with a multitude of enhancements from the original version.

Coming to the DS along with Orcs & Elves is a project that Carmack is certainly experienced with – a shooter.

“We're talking about doing a Quake Arena-type DS game... it feels like a good fit for the DS. I'm psyched to experiment with network play.”

Both games should be worth looking out for down the line, especially since the DS is slightly lacking in shooters. Be sure to check more as we keep you updated.

بالنسبة للعبة الفيرست بيرسون فأنا أذكر إني قبل سنتين قريت خبر رسمي على ما أظن إن جون كارماك يطور Doom للدي اس ...
أما لعبة الآر بي جي فأظن إنها راح تكون فيرست بيرسون آر بي جي مثل بيوشوك و إلدر سكرولز لأن آخر لعبتين لجون كارماك على الموبايل كانت من هالنوع و هم Orcs & Elves و Doom RPG و أنا جربت الأخيرة و عجبتني جدا ...

Doom RPG جيدة جداً, كانت بسيطة و تلعبها في اي وقت.
بانتظار لعبة الFPS الجديدة لان الDS عليه نقص حاد من النوع.
