No 'defining' new feature in the build they played, biggest change in the fluid passing thanks to Teamvision AI. Inverse Kinetics physics system. Keepers more human making "genuinely athletic" fingertip dives, or clumsily spilling rasping shots. Easier to score, but the game feels harder because the CPU plays "intelligent, unpredictable, attacking football as opposed to grinding you down with robotic cheating efficiency."

Code had lots of slowdown, some players lack correct face, no news with online features.

Master League stuff:
"Before and after games, you'll see supporters in the pub, marching around the streets or turning up at the training round for autographs. You can even change their chants in the options menu. If fans are more impressed, you'll grow more popular and receive a popularity grade (A to D). This makes it easier to negotiate transfers with teams of a similar position - you can't sign Kaka on day one as the Default team; you'll need to wait until your team is much more popular."

Team will be shown celebrating their trophies at private functions and the like. Preview code was placeholdery, not sure if they'll be animated!? Commentators will add stories about putting together cup runs and winning streaks. Players have more personality, players will be interviewed and chat about their performances and other subjects (no audio!).

New licenses this year:
Newcastle, Tottenham, HJK Helsinki, Fenerbache S.K, RSC Anderlecht, IFK Goteborg, Panathinaikos, Spartak Moscow, NK Dinamo Zagreb, FC Basel.

"The Facts"
* Extended gallery mode stats including: first team beaten, long shot specialist, most hat tricks, plus ranks (S-D) from Goal Scoring Ability to Set Pieces.
* Replays are longer, with more build up play. Oh and there's a 59 song playlist option - all classic un-licensed stuff like Electro track Nu Romantik Striker [sic].
* League, Cup, Edit, ML, Online, Gallery, Training and Exhibition mode.
* Your players will bend down and pull their socks up when the ball goes out of play. Or motion to team mates.
* A red outline appears around your player icon when they're tired.
* Tricks like the shot fake are less exaggerated, but just as handy for fooling people - and don't turn you 45 degrees.
* Referees brandish their cards in game rather than in a cinematic cut away.
* Quick free kicks are improved - players can seamlessly touch stop the ball and quick pass without the game fading to black and starting again.
* You'll hear your team mates shouting for you to pass the ball when you have possession.
* Some players will try to con the ref by diving, but they'll be booked if they're caught doing it.
