The game is like a “Band of Brothers with monsters”. It’s not the typical sci-fi cliché.
Everything that you see is real time running on Xbox 360.
The shotgun is displayed for the first time.
The COG APC (Armadillo) is also displayed for the first time.
What you saw at E3 was the graphical unveiling of the game.
Gears of Wars is single-player focused with co-op.
There will be deathmatch multiplayer but it won’t be large scale.
There’s room for a spectator mode.
"Actually, I like to call it 2nd person, because it’s kind of halfway between 1st and 3rd person. You get the benefits of 1st person and 3rd."
In this game, if you are standing out in the middle of the open, if you are trying to surf straight into the battle, you are going to get killed.
