أعلنت مايكروسوفت عن جزء جديد من سلسلة إيج أوف إمبايرز بعنوان Age of Empires Online ، اللعبة قيد التطوير من قبل Robot Entertainment الغير مملوك لمايكروسوفت والذي يحوي عدد كبير من موظفي إنزمبل استوديوز.

*اللعبة لا تحتاج إشتراك شهري مثل ألعاب الMMO
*الدولة التي ستبنيها ستستمر بالتمو والتقدم حتى لو كان اللاعب خارج الشبكة offline
*مهام (quests) و متاجرة ونظام مستويات levels مع إمكانية إنهاء المهام لوحدك أو مع أصدقائك
*هذا الجزء من اللعبة سيدور في بلاد الإغريق حيث سيبدأ اللاعبون كقرية صغيرة ويتطوروا إلى إمبراطورية كبرى

الظاهر اللعبة تشتغل بطريقة تمزج بين نظام الهوم تاون في إيج أوف إمبايرز 3 و أسلوب لعب Battle Forge الجماعي ، يعني مافي خريطة كبيرة و دول متصارعة على طريقة ترافيان Travian ولا مدري شو اسمها

ههه أعتقد الصور مفاجأة لكثيرين ، أنا أحيي شجاعة فريق التطوير على هالمحاولة الجريئة لتقديم لعبة استراتيجية فريدة وجديدة ، لكن أتمنى يتمكنوا من توظيف أفكارهم بالشكل المطلوب ، رح انتظر المزيد عن اللعبة قبل ما احكم لكن مبدئيا متحمس جربها
