This week's question: The DS has been an overwhelming success. Are you looking into using the same fundamentals -- like, for instance, its region-free standard -- for Wii?

You're right that the region-free approach has proved to be a successful and attractive feature for Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection on Nintendo DS -- we have even blown the doors off our own anticipated numbers! Cost, ease-of-use and player privacy are the three things that were a focus for us with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Those priorities also will apply to the Wii system.

Insomniac gives out it’s thoughts on the Wii

While Insomniac is supporting the PS3 with it’s upcoming Resistance title they had the following to say about the Wii in general:

“…The Wii, well, if I can’t talk about the controller (he was asked not too), I’d say the presence of franchises that have had such great track records. The traditional Nintendo franchises in a new form should make gamers very happy.”

Bizzare Creations speaks about the Wii

In an interview with Bizzare Creations, creators of Project Gotham Racing 3 had the following to say about the Wii:

Are you looking forward to PlayStation 3 and whatever that stupid wavy new Nintendo thing is called?

Yes, of course we’re looking forward to them, as anyone who likes games will be doing. The Wii seems to be aiming at a slightly different market than the Xbox 360 though, so it’ll be interesting to see if people get a Wii to go alongside their other console or not.

It’s interesting to see that many still feel as though Wii is only a second console, oh well if it is it’s got a huge shot to make a comeback.

T3 magazine on ‘The games Wii’d like to see’

T3 magazine has an article posted online about game concepts that they would love to see on the Wii. The one that caught my attention was Ghostbusters. I grew up watching the movie and cartoon series and I can only drewl at the thought of ghost busting with the Wii-mote and perhaps using the nunchuku to trap them. Luigi’s Mansion 2 would be perfect for the Wii don’t you think?

New details of Trauma Center: Second Opinion

The latest issue of Famitsu has details about the upcoming title for the Wii. According to the report below the title isn’t necessarily a direct sequel to the DS version but rather it is a brand new Trauma Center game with new characters and voice-overs. Unfortunately the title might not be able to make it right on launch day but is still planned for the launch window. The game is reported to be 40% complete

Cryptic Studios working on ‘next-gen’ MMO

Cryptic Studios, creators of City of Villains and City of Heroes for the PC are now working on a new MMO for ‘next-gen’ consoles. Although it isn’t clear that they are supporting the Wii, a City of Heroes type of game would suit the Wii very well.

احقد على المواقع اللي ماتتعامل باحترافيه فيما يخص اسماء الاجهزة .. موقع كمبيوتر اند فيديو جيمز معروف انه يحب سوني بدرجة كبيره ولكن الاستخفاف بعض الاحيان مايكون له داعي ..

شباب ترى كلام كابلن كان على ان اللعب الاونلاين عبر الشبكه بيكون مولتي ريجن مثل الدي اس .. يعني لو عندك لعبة سماش امريكيه تقدر تباري واحد ياباني بلعبته اليابانيه .. مو تشغيل الالعاب.

تراوما سنتر بتكون شي رهيب.

أتمنى فعلا يخلون الجهاز ملتي ريجن ..

لكن الظاهر كلامها عن الاونلاين وانه كل الريجنز يشتركون مع بعض مهوب الألعاب -_-

In a somewhat disappointing revelation, Famitsu reports that Atlus' announced medical drama sim Trauma Center: Second Opinion (for Wii) will be a remake of Trauma Center: Under the Knife, which was released for DS in October 2005. Indeed, this pseudo-sequel will be a 'second opinion' of the various traumas that we confronted in Under the Knife.
