GPS sells out in Japann

Japan is certainly excited for the new GPS peripheral. amazon.co.jp is reporting that its first shipment for the device is already sold out. The customers that are buying the tool are also buying Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, most likely because the Kojima stealth game happens to support the device. They're also picking up Chotto Shot (the PSP camera)

There were a lot of people surprised by the newest trailers at the Tokyo Game Show, it had the kind of quality nobody thought was possible on the PSP. Is this trailer a remake of the one shown at E3?

Nomura: The CC trailer at TGS was made as a high-quality alpha version of the one at E3. But it's almost completely new. At E3, the Kingdom Hearts team helped out to complete it, but this time it was the CC team who did it.


- The trailer showed the battle system for the first time. What kind of battles can we expect?

Nomura: There's a lot of action involved in the battles, but it's still close to the command-input system of an RPG.


- We saw some sort of slots in the trailer that looked somewhat like ripples. What is their purpose in the game?

Nomura: They look like slots, but they're not. They're actually what bring Zack's status back to normal, not just simple gambling tools. All I can say concretely about the system is that it's a moving system. And as for the ripples, there's a connection there but I can't tell you because it's connected to the storyline. But it's a very major part of the game.


- We saw Aerith in this trailer dressed in white. Was that G we saw in red clothes?

Nomura: Up till now, Aerith was always wearing pink. This time we decided to give her a new look by dressing her in white. The colour choice matched up with Zack and Aerith's first meeting too ("Are you an angel?" "No, I'm Aerith."), so we were happy about that. We wanted to make this the first time Aerith sounds really lively, so we asked Maaya Sakamoto about it and she acted the part perfectly.
There's a surprising amount of people that don't know who G is, but he's voiced by Gackt.


- Has Zack's design changed over time?

Nomura: Zack's design is definitely different in CC and FFVII. The young Zack doesn't have a wound on his cheek. You'll find out where he got that in the game, so keep a lookout for that.

Rainbow Six: Vegas PSP features 15 weapons and 10 gadgets.

FIFA 07 is a fun, fast-paced game of soccer and EA's finest effort to date. While the effort to imitate the best elements of Winning Eleven is obvious, EA does its own fair share of innovation with some great long-pall passing, jostling and PS2 connectivity. With solid visuals and sound and a dearth of gamemodes, FIFA 07 is one of the best sports games of the year and an excellent game of soccer on the go. Still, the gameplay must be tightened up before it can overtake the competition.

Death Jr. 2 Hands-on

the changes made to the camera and targeting system place Death Jr.2 ahead of its predecessor. Not only that, the inclusion of a second character, Pandora, keeps things fresh and lends the game a different take on every situation in the game

The demo on display showed off a number of new levels. They all looked far cooler than in the previous game, thanks to a number of visual enhancements. The game now supports high dynamic range lighting, bloom effects and particle effects. Every one of these effects adds a new dimension to the experience, making Death Jr. 2 one slick-looking game.

كلنا شفنا تكن ب 60 فريم ...جراند ثيفت اوتو ب30 فريم وبون مشاكل ولودنج اقل من 5 ثواني لتحميل مدينه ( فايس سيتي ) ..هذا وهو شغال على محدوديه سرعه معالجه الكالمله !!

يعني واضح انه متطور واقوى من الps2 في كل شي تقريبا ....ما عدى البولي جونز ..واللي يشكل نصف العدد ..ويتعوض بوجود شاشه صغيره !!
