first of all... this is the first time i write impressions... so i'm not good at it

now for some details...
1-Graphics
the CGs are reeeeaaaally great... just beautiful. the in-game graphics are nice... nice textures... some times the buildings looks a little bit too square.. but everything else looks really nice :yuck:

2-Music
Nobuo Uematsu... enough said
the music is the best!!.... sensational!!

3-Voice acting
The game has BOTH Japanese & English Voices
of course the Japanese voice acting is really nice...BUT... the English voice overs... ARE AMAZING
i have to say Lost Odyssey has the Best English voice-over for a JRPG EVAR!!
sadly.. only Japanese subtitles


4-Gameplay

A-World Map
The world map in the game is a map where you select locations from a list.. but these locations are big, wide.... long walks of course until you reach your destination

B-In Battle
the battle system is what i like the most<tgman> classic turnbased battle system with AWESOME nice features.. I LOVE IT

5-Story
so far the story is grrreat.. sensational!!
i dont want to spoil anything... so i'm just gonna say... it's SENSATIONAL

i like the characters, different personalities:: the cold cool quiet guy (main charater).. the funny silly always complaining person... the energetic person... a lot of different personalities

yes, it reminds me of the old FFs... that's why i like it so much!! specially the battle system... i love it

the leveling is fun!!! cuz it's not the classic simple battle system.. but the other new things makes it fun... like how Immortal charecters can learn skills from other characters by "skill link"... it's awesome...
and in-battle.. by pressing in the right time.. you can get "perfect", "good" or "bad" when you attack:cooool:

about the classes... i'm still at the beginning of the game.. so i dunno...yet

in Japanese :cryy: you can only change the voices into English
but you can find websites with proper translation for the menu

On November 21st, a novel based on the main character of Kaim, is released in Japan, called "Eien wo Tabi Suru Mono ~Lost Odyssey~ Sen Nen no Yume (永遠を旅する者 ロストオデッセイ 千年の夢), translated as "The Forever Traveller ~Lost Odyssey~ A Thousand Year's Dream". It is penned by Kiyoshi Shigematsu and features 31 of 34 stories found in the "Thousand Year's Dream" sequences throughout the game itself.

you get to read the 31 stories in the game... REALLY NICE
i wish i can show you a video of how it's displayed.. really neat
but i found a translation of one of the stories

it doesn't matter in what order you read the stories... and it does not contain any spoiler.. in fact it has nothing to do with the main storyline

Alright, looks like I'm back in.
Somehow I forced myself to play from my last save and I actually enjoyed everything then. Strange how I was almost disgusted with the game's difficulty and seemingly out of nowhere it wasn't a problem anymore.
This is a game where gaining one single level makes a BIG difference. Some of the enemies in the level that would take two sword strikes to kill now take one, and fights get much faster and enjoyable.
Anyway, finished disc 1 with a lovely cutscene and started disc 2 with some fun fights. Yep, I'm actually having fun again, until the next difficulty spike I guess?

Superb game.

Having put in 45 hours into the game and will probably put much of the holiday gaming time into doing the awesome optional side quests at the end of the game

LO is a reaaaaally well balanced RPG by a team that knows how JRPGs should work, and it really shows.

أتوقعتها أكثر لأن اللعبة شكلها كبيرة و ضخمة , OST's فف7---11 أكثر (كلها بالستينات عددها , غير 9 اللي أكثر من 100 تراك, غير اللي مهي موجودة باللعبة) , صراحة ماسمعت من اللعبة علق بذهني إلا الماين ثيم (بس ماسمعت تراكس كثيرة للعبة).

إنت متحمس للعبة مع إن فيها بكاء مراهقين ?
