?There was an image that Mr. Nomura is the type who carefully creates, so it was a bit surprising. Is the strong desire for people to play 'FF7 Remake' quickly especially because of the nature of this game--
Mr. Nomura: Rather than that, it's the case every time. The works I'm involved in are often said to make people wait a lot, but honestly, I don't want to keep the users waiting. When there are discussions within the team about setting the release date, there are often proposals for a safer option, but I'm the type who always tries to push for an earlier and last-minute approach as much as possible (laughs)
Even though you're on the creative side, you're suddenly making statements like a project manager... (laughs)--
.Mr. Nomura: That's right, surprisingly I lean towards that side (laughs). Anyway, I really want you to play soon. I want you to eat it while it's warm
?By the way, in 'FF7 Remake', could you tell us in what capacity Mr. Nomura was involved and which aspects of development he focused on--
.Mr. Nomura: Basically, while continuing the work I was involved in during 'FF7 Remake', since the foundational aspects were already in place from the previous game, I left the new systems and such to the development team
Considering that the world of 'FF7' has expanded with derivative works, rather than focusing intensively on a single title, my role is to oversee the entire project. However, it's not like I'm not involved in the details at all; I do direct crucial aspects of the work and handle overall coordination
?'Finally, when it comes to Mr. Nomura, his authorship tends to attract attention. If there were something like 'Nomura Tetsuya-ism,' how do you think it is incorporated into 'FF7 Remake--
Mr. Nomura: Well, you see, I don't really know (laughs). I occasionally watch analyses and impression videos of the works I've been involved in, and while watching them, I've heard people describe lines that I haven't written as having 'Nomura Tetsuya-ism.' It's interesting, you know
Ultimately, 'Nomura Tetsuya-ism' is something that, in the end, the recipients feel based on whether I am involved or not in the work. Sometimes users who are playing parts that really have nothing to do with me say, 'I feel Nomura-san's touch here,' so while thinking, 'That's not really me,' (laughs)
