Let’s focus now on the Cancel Moves that will be added to Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations. The new moves come as a major change in the series to bring the ninja fights to the next level. The basic idea behind Cancel Moves is to give players the opportunity to break a combo pattern at any time. This new gameplay feature is dedicated to the attacker and comes in handy when facing an opponent that mainly relies on counter attack.
How does it work? At any time, while you are performing a combo, press the Chakra button and the Jump button in sequence. A special effect will confirm your actual combo has been canceled, meaning that you are free to perform a new action: new combo, Jutsu, Ougi…You name it! Whatever you choose, the hit combo will keep counting from your previous combo(s), letting you achieve new hits combo record and huge damages! The Cancel Moves can also be used to get away from your opponent without waiting for your combo to end. To do that, simply make the Cancel command (Chakra Button then Jump Button) and hold the stick away from your opponent. This is especially useful when your opponent successfully did a Substitution Jutsu and you need to coming counter attack. A Cancel Move consumes roughly 1/5 of your Chakra bar (please note that this might evolve during the final tweaking of the game).
