كعادتها قامت مجلة فامتسو اليابانية بجمع أصوات قرائها في اليابان حول أكثر الألعاب التي ينتظرونها، الأصوات تم جمعها بين 19 و 25 ديسمبر الماضي، و أتت نتائج التصويت بالصورة التالية:

لا جديد مع صدارة Final Fantasy VII Remake التي تجمع المزيد من الأصوات و خلفها تستقر Tales of Arise في المركز الثاني و في المركز الثالث تأتي لعبة Animal Crossing المرشحة لتكون أقوى إصدارات هذا العام في اليابان. لعبة Ghost of Tsushima تدخل إلى الألعاب العشرين الأكثر انتظارًا هي الأخرى بجانب الجزء الثاني من The Last of Us و Cyberpunk 2077 كألعاب تُمثل المطوّر الغربي في القائمة.
