For the first time, you'll be able to battle other Snakes online, as well as play cooperatively. Subsistence will also give you the option to play with a 3rd-person, behind-Snake view. Going by what the below scans say, it appears that during cutscenes, you'll be able to move the camera around manually (what the player is doing to see that angle of Eva crawling through the grass in the second scan ).
There will also be a treat for oldschool Metal Gear fans - the cellphone remakes of the MSX versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake - previously unreleased in the US - will be included with Subsistence. Basically, they're spruced up graphically with some minor other changes from the originals. You can get a glimpse of them on the right side of the second scan.
