December 15, 2005 - Four Guilty Gears in one generation may have seemed like more than enough, but Sega and Arc System Works aren't finished just yet. Sega will release Guilty Gear XX Slash: The Midnight Carnival to the PS2 for a Japanese release in Spring of 2006. The latest issue of Famitsu has first details on the game.
Arc System Works has added two new characters over the latest # Reload installment of the series. Order-Sol is another version of the main character Sol, and shares many of his super moves. Sol players should be able to get the hang of him without problem. Also added for this title is A.B.A., who appeared in Guilty Gear Isuka. She's been given new super attacks for this installment. All the other characters have been given new specials and tweaks to current moves.

The home version will include all the expected modes of play: arcade, versus 2P, versus CPU, training, survival, gallery and sound. The game's M.O.M.E. mode is a score attack mode, and it's joined by a Mission mode where you work through missions, each with three levels of difficulty. Arc has also made tweaks to the game's interface, with new menu screens and a graphical stage selection screen.
Guilty Gear XX Slash is currently 75% complete.
