EXECUTES CONTRACT TO ACQUIRE PRINT AND ONLINE
PUBLISHING RIGHTS TO EGM MAGAZINE

BEVERLY HILLS, CA, May 29, 2009 — Steve Harris, founder of “Electronic Gaming Monthly” magazine, announced today that he has entered into an agreement with Ziff Davis Media to re-acquire certain assets, including trademarks and publishing rights, with plans to re-launch EGM in the second half of 2009.

“The re-launch of Electronic Gaming Monthly represents a welcome opportunity to continue delivering quality content to gaming enthusiasts,” said Harris. “I feel honored to once again be associated with this respected magazine. The talented writers and designers who built upon EGM’s original vision have left behind a publication that is uniquely positioned to be successful.”

شخصيا ماصارت تفرق معي للامانه, احس المجلات المقروءه اذا مادفعت فلوس واخذت الكشف الحصري للالعاب مثل ماتسوي جيم انفورمر فالوضع صار صعب عليها.

ماذكر متى اخر مرة egm كشفوا عن اي لعبة. المراجعات منهم كانت جيده الين صارت بالحروف ووقتها خلاص ماصرت اهتم فيها بالكامل.

بالضبط الكلام هذا صحيح جدا

أنا موقف قرائتها من زمان.. و حتى لما أعلنوا توقفها ما فرقت معي نهائيا

يمكن فيها بعض المواد التحريرية الممتازة.. لكن في النهاية صارت أقل جاذبية من قبل

الطاقم القديم الي كان ماسك المجلة كان أحد أهم الأسباب في متابعتي للمجلة .. وبوجود Game Informer أتوقع صعب على المجلة أنها توقف على رجلينها بسهولة ..

جيم إنفورمر صارت أفضل مجلة خلاص ومن ناحية الأخبار والكشوفات وضعها ممتاز ، لكن شخصيا رجوع EGM يسعدني وحتى لو المراجعات بالحروف نقدر نوزنها بالأرقام.

صراحه خبر مفاجئ في وقت بدأت فيه الصحافة الورقيه تحتظر

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
مجلة EGM منذ عشرين عام تصدر الالعاب وتقيمها وتصدر تقارير عن الالعاب بشكل تحريري احترافي
ولكن في الآونة الاخيرة اصبحت من المجلات الغير محايدة بسبب dan hsu ولما خرج منها المجلة كانت في طريقها تكون افضل اظن لكن لم ينجدها ذلك وقد كان ساعتها فات الاوان

على اي حال جميل عودة المجلة ونتمنى ان نجد افضل مما كانت عليه سابقا

صحيح إن المجلة ماصار فيها كشف حصري لألعاب, لكن مراجعاتها ومقالاتها تعجبني
