أول شيء ببتدي به معاكم هو هذا الخبر الحلو.......................

Thewster noticed there is a Tony Hawk Project 8 Skin available for the Wii on Gamestop and Ebgames.com . I’d have to excuse this as a goof-up on their part because from what we know, Project 8 is not being released on Wii.

It’s still pretty interesting though. Is it possible that Downhill Jam is not the only Tony Hawk heading to the Wii?

“I’m sure all RPG players are familiar with the monster treasure chests and the dungeons in the game don’t lack any either. While the ones in here don’t attack you, they do demand you pay Rupees before you can get your hands on their content and they won’t let you get away until you do! Bosses in the dungeons reside inside a much larger chest and once you and your bodyguard jump inside, you’ll find there are different ways of battling with the bosses. One of them is very similar to the Punch Out game in which the portrait of characters on the top screen changes as their HP drops. Another has you flying around on balloons, picking up bombs and dropping them on the boss’ weak spots. Once you defeat them, they reward you with a Super Ruby which you have to collect along with a generous amount of Rupees to help you reach your goal.”

“It does take a while before you get used to a new MG’s control panel using the stylus. Some of them are a little silly such as the Ammo Type MGs where you have to load every single bullet manually into the barrel although this maybe there to balance out the units.

As you drive your MGs around using the D-Pad, you view them from a third person perspective from the back and as you move, you can see the camera shake with each step you take. Coupled with the sound effect of those big heavy metal feet landing in the ground, it all feels very real as if you can actually feel those tremors despite only playing them on a little handheld console. If you don’t like the camera shaking however, you can turn off the effect. Collision detection is fairly good as you can crush lamp posts and trees if you happen to run into them (which you’ll probably do a lot) and, buildings can be knocked over if they are run into too much depending on your MG.”

ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat is indeed still in the works, and will be released sometime in 2007.

Phoenix Wright 4 is heading to the Japanese market sometime this Spring.

The trading card based Sangokushi Taisen DS (Romance of the Three Kingdoms) will be hitting Japanese stores on 1/25/07 (Gamefront has the date of 1/15/06, but I believe it to be a misprint)

C3 interviewed the creators of Doom and Quake and the following is an excerpt of the interview below:

C3: What are your thoughts on the Nintendo Wii in general and how it compares to the XBOX 360 and PlayStation 3?

TH: I don’t know much about the Wii other than just what I’ve read, so it wouldn’t really be fair for me to make comparisons. I think the Wii has a lot of cool potential and Nintendo always makes awesome games for their console, so I bet its going to be successful even if it lacks the raw power of the 360 or PS3.

C3: The unique control system has been stated to be perfect for the FPS genre and downloading via the WiConnect24 online service seems ideal for new maps, upgrades and so on. Could you see id Software properties working well on the system? And have you had chance to try out any tests with the development kit yet?

TH: We don’t have any dev kits that we’re working with so answering at this point would just be speculation, and I’d rather avoid that. If the UI really ends up being an awesome fit for FPS games then we will certainly pay attention to it.

هذا بعض الكلام الطيب من الفريق المطور....:yuck:

“We get the graphics question all the time. Every time we talk about the game we get the graphics question. A lot of people - even passionate Nintendo fans - are kind of dismissing the graphics, saying, “We know it’s going to be third, yadda, yadda, yadda.” We didn’t take that attitude. Right from the beginning, we said, “You know what? We need to make this game look better than Xbox at the very minimum. And if possible, we need to challenge the Xbox 360 version.” That was our goal from the first day.”

“So we’ve done a whole host of things that put the game far in advance of the GameCube and we think better than the Xbox. And in some cases, we’re challenging the Xbox 360 on graphics. First of all, the game is HD compliant. You can play 480p and 16:9 widescreen. That means everybody who has a HDTV can play the game with their component outputs and play in 480p and 16:9 widescreen while running at 60 frames per second, which is awesome. Additionally we’ve upped the texture quality on players. ”

“Textures are a higher quality. In many cases, they are higher than the Xbox version. We’ve added a whole host of features like depth of field. We’ve added a feature we call cinematic lens effect, which is like when you look through an actual television camera and straight lines get a little bit bowed in real life. We’ve increased the shadows. The shadows are better. We have something called contact shadows so that if two players get close to each other you’ll see the shadow of one bleed onto the shadow of another. We’ve increased the grass. Our grass looks like it has more depth to it. It looks more lush than GameCube. It’s definitely a much better looking game than on GameCube and we think that it really is challenging Xbox 360 in some places.”

لون اللايت غريب عجيب !! أتوقّع موضوع الألوان ما راح يخلص مع اللايت ! وطول السنين والجهاز كل يوم والثاني تشوف صفوف ينتظرون عشان يشترون اللون الجديد

يالله...زين عشان ننتيندو تاكل من اللايت وتطبخ للوي ^^
